Course for professionals working in community care to improve the skills and strategies needed to address conflict using a transformative approach. The course is based on the need to provide community relations strategies for the people who foster these relations, including conflict analysis tools and training in nonviolent intervention.
• Conflict sensitivity course
Course for municipal cooperation staff to reflect on what international cooperation should be like when it is implemented in countries in situations of tension and/or conflict. The courses introduce the main contributions of theories such as "Do No Harm" or "Peace and Conflict Impact Assessment", among others.
• Working groups on conflict transformation at the municipal level
Working Group for community care staff aimed at providing tools to deal with conflict in a holistic way, without focusing on specific interventions, and thus improve relations and achieve sustainable cultural and structural changes.
• Learning Community on conflict transformation at the municipal level
Activity for community care professionals aimed at creating an environment for exchange and continuing education, using reflective practice to enhance the skills and strategies needed to deal with conflict in public and community spaces. This activity is a mix of working sessions conducted every two months and the support of an online platform.
• Coaching on conflict transformation at the municipal level
Guidance aimed at community care staff to provide them with support when dealing with a conflict.
• Coaching on conflict sensitivity
Support for municipal cooperation staff to provide guidelines to define and assess the degree of "conflict sensitivity" (Do No Harm) of the international cooperation projects that they wish to implement in countries with situations of tension and/or conflict. Specifically, support is provided to review the guidelines for proposals, the project proposal forms, and the project scoring criteria in accordance with the principles of conflict sensitivity.
