Conflict and peacebuilding

The Programme on Conflict and Peacebuilding monitors and analyzes armed conflict, socio-political crises and the gender, peace and security agenda. It carries out research projects, consultancy services and track II initiatives. Its main publications include the yearbooks Alert! Report on conflict, human rights and peacebuilding and Peace Talks in Focus. Report on Trends and Scenarios. Its researchers teach in various academic programmes, including the Postgraduate Diploma in Culture of Peace (Autonomous University of Barcelona), and collaborate regularly with the media.
